144th NGAUS Conference meets ahead of the Air Force’s 75th birthday.
Air Force Chief of Staff General Charles, Q. Brown, Jr., spoke at the 144th Conference and Exhibition of the National Guard Association of the United States last week. The Air Force will be celebrating its 75th birthday in a couple of weeks, and General Brown recapped some of the military branch’s history while encouraging National Guard members about the future.
“I reflect on the fact that our service was created on a foundation of innovation and forward-thinking, and how we must harness that mindset and exploit change to transform from the force we have today to the one needed to meet our pacing challenge,” General Brown said. “We’ve done this before, and I’m confident we can do it again.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For General Brown as he fulfills his duties as Air Force chief of staff.
- For Secretary Kendall to be discerning as he heads the Air Force branch of the U.S. military.
- For General Hokanson as he oversees the National Guard Bureau.
